Our house is on the market

Our beloved house is on the market.  This house will forever be special to us, to me.  This is/was OUR very first house... it was ours.  Not a rental or just an 'in-between" house, it is the Pratt Pad.  We moved into this 3 bedroom house 3 1/2 years ago with just 2 kiddos.  Then, just 2 short months after moving in day, we found out we were pregnant with our third kid.  What a surprise.  Now, we just need more room.  I am certain we can get by... it will just be nice if we are able to get a bigger home.  It never hurts to try, so we put the house on the market and we are just waiting to see what happens.

Oh, I love my boys, they make me smile.  I like to dress them fairly similar and now that Ky is getting older, I am getting a lot of "Are they twins?" comments.

Micah's 4th Birthday

Its April now... April 1st... April Fools Day.  So far I haven't been fooled and I gave Caitlyn a heads up  before school so she doesn't get fooled today either.  Our Pratt world is the same and yet changing daily.  It feels like nothing new is going on when people ask... but if I sit and think about it, a lot is happening.  Here is my camera dump.  Getting to an actual computer is hard... so these camera dumps may happen often.  Im gonna start with the beginning of this year... January 5, my precious, sweet, gentle, loving, handsome, t-ball player, always reminding you that "you are the best," son Micah turned 4.  We had a TransFOURmers birthday party.

Micah... who I am actually having to correct as I write this... which is something I rarely have to do, is a good boy.  This boy is always telling everyone around him how much he loves them and "you're the best!!!!"  ALL THE TIME and I wouldn't change it for the world.  

Micah, you are such a blessing to us and our family.  We love you so much!

Its that time of year!!!

I love this time of year... Especially these past few days with the weather being more like Christmas...at least here in Texas!

Just wanted to wish you all a Merry CHRISTmas...and check and see if my blog still works. :0). (It has been quite a while since I have posted, sorry). One day I will finally get better at it.

My Pinterest Summer Wreath

Im not sure about the rest of you, but I LOVE Pinterest.  Whoever came up with that idea to somehow bring a bazillion crafts (amongst other things) together in one site was a genius!!!!  I love checking out the humor site and of course the craft site.  

Back in January, the time of year when we all decide that some of our Christmas decorations weren't all they were cracked up to be... I went to my sister in laws house and noticed she was throwing out this "beauty." It was a perfectly fine wreath, but she wanted to have something different for next Christmas and saw no reason to hold on to this one all year.  I grabbed it and asked her if I could have it.  With an "are you crazy" look in her eye because I went through her garbage, she said sure.  I told her I had a plan and no worries.      

Well, it took me a few months... 8 months in fact, to come up with an idea... 

 (Drumroll please)  Ta-daaaa!!  (Thank you Pinterest for the inspiration.)

    

I have no summer decorations around my house and for some reason every year I hit a dry spell in the creativity department during this time.  Finally my house has some color... at least for now until I unload the multiple boxes I have full of FALL colors for my actual FAVORITE time of the year!!!!

So what have we been so busy doing this summer???  Sometimes it felt like nothing and sometimes it felt like we were going crazy... or maybe it was me going crazy.

First Day of 2nd Grade for my 1st Angel Baby

Monday, August 27th was Caitlyn's first day of 2nd Grade and she was very excited to finally get back into the routine of school.  I think I can safely say I was excited for her to get back into that routine too.  The girl loves summer, but like me, loves the school year more.  To us school lovers, other than homework...school means friends, activities, feeling productive, getting dressed up and learning new things.

Caitlyn's Hello Kitty Birthday Party

My beautiful daughter, who is growing up so quickly before my eyes, absolutely loves Hello Kitty.  Thank God for that cute kitten.  I used to love Hello Kitty too when I was Caitlyn's age and I smile every time when I see Caitlyn's and my similarities.  This year Caitlyn chose a Hello Kitty theme for her party and that is what she got.  She has her way of wrapping you around her finger and asking so sweetly while looking at you with those beautiful green eyes, "Can I have..."

For example... She had heard that Mommo knows how to make pinata's and had requested that she make a Hello Kitty one for her birthday.  Below is a picture of the requested pinata.  Mom did a great job.  

Every Party needs party favors.  Every girl got some Hello Kitty ears to wear.  See the stand alone bow?  That one is mine.  :O) 

One of the games requested we play... "Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty where is your wallet."  (A version of "Doggy, Doggy where is your bone")

Happy Birthday to the prettiest 7 year old I know!!!  I love you!

Micah's SUPER 3rd Birthday

Oh no!!  Guess what I found out!  I forgot to post Micah's 3rd Birthday... that happened waaaaaayyyy back in January.  Oh Goodness, I guess better late than never.  

 We celebrated Micah's birthday day ALL day.  Our day started with Bouncing Bears... a really fun place.

Micah wanted to have a Super Hero party, and so that is what he got.  Everyone dressed up in Superhero gear and we all had a blast.
