Before Pics

I almost forgot to take some before pictures of the house. But no worries, I did remember. Here they are:

The kitchen... what in the world were they thinking with that color that they picked????

Another view of the kitchen. Can you see that brown wall? That is the color we are painting the entire kitchen. A nice chocolate brown. The kitchen is already painted now and boy it looks GOOOOOOOD!!! The brown walls make the cabinets look awesome.
This is our formal dining room. We are gonna paint this room a light sage color. It will go perfectly with Daniel's oriental themed dining room.
A view of the living room. I wasnt too sure about the curtains, but I think with the kitchen a warm brown, I think they will look great! See that little handsome man in the living room???
One of the walls in the master bedroom. This will be our accent wall.
So there are a few before pics. Cant want for you to see how it looks when we are finally done. Well... I cant wait til we are finally done. :o)

Happy Anniversary Baby

Today is Daniel and my 7 year anniversary. Wow. It feel like only yesterday that we said "I do." Yet it also feels like forever ago. I married my best friend and I love him more and more every day. Happy Anniversary Baby! I love you!

Home Sweet Home

Ok, we did it!!!! We closed on our house and now it is ours. :o) So yes, I can start posting pictures. I am going to go over and take pictures of the inside with out all their things in it and then you will eventually see the before and after pictures.

Coupons

I love coupons. I love cutting coupons. I love printing coupons. I LOVE coupons. I love the thought of getting something at a fraction of the cost and that I found a way to do that. So, yes... you guessed it... I love coupons. :o)

I do think it is therapeutic to cut them, to file them and then to price compare at the store... which is item better and so on. Well, I had a little file packet that I kept in my purse with ALL my coupons. I loved having them with me, but didnt like the organization of how it was at all. I kept on thinking there is a better way. Well, the other day I ran into a lady and saw this really great book that had ALL of her coupons laid out in front of her. Easy to see all and no flipping through them to see what 50 cents I could save now. I had to stop her and ask where she got this amazing thing. She told me she made it and was trying to start a little business to sell them. I asked how much, she told me $20. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!! I thought at first, I can make that. But then thought... buying all the things that I would need for it would cost way more than $20 and my time. So I told her that I would buy one. I had this coupon folder in a couple of days. And if I wanted to, I could have custom ordered it... the colors I want, ribbon I want, how it should be organized, and so on. So here are a few pics of it and if you're interested, I will give you her number. I love mine and completely satisfied with it.

Who are you gonna be????

Ok, I saw this on someone's blog... and I really did giggle a bit, ok... a lot. Now don't get me wrong, I was a regular watcher of Jon & Kate Plus 8, prior to all this mess lately. And I was/am sad that their marriage did not work... and I feel that they just gave up. Makes you mad doesnt it? But, I do hope that things get better for them soon. But when I saw this, I just had to post it.

I don't dress up for halloween, but this may change my mind for this year. Just kidding.

It's a Sign

Here is a tiny snippit of our new house. It's officially not ours yet... so most of the pictures will still have to wait. But, Daniel was driving by the house the other day and this is what he saw. "SOLD" It's cool looking, huh?!!!

Caitlyns First Day of Preschool

Today was Caitlyn's first day of preschool. To say that she was excited to go... well that is an understatement. We were discussing in the car that the proper word for her feelings is "thrilled." She was literally thrilled to go. We left early so that we could walk around some and take our time and not be rushed. We had a great time. Pictures are below of our "killing time" pictures.

I dropped her off in her classroom and she just walked right on in. I had to get her attention to get her to come back and give me hugs and kisses. *sniff*

She had a great day! I am so proud of her and she is looking forward to going back on Wednesday!

Pratt House Update

Ok, so here is the update for our Pratt House.  BTW,  gotta come up with a cute name for it.  My friend calls her house, Casa de Moody.  Love it!  You guys got any suggestions... send them my way.  :o)

Anyways, we are now planning on closing on the 25th and then getting the keys on the 26th.  This way we close, then they can close on their house and then have some time to move out and then we move in.  Yikes to think that this all happens in just a few weeks.  WOW.

We are going to paint almost every room in the house... BIGGER WOW.  I am gonna have some strong muscles after that painting workout.  

So that is what is going on in our world.  Thinking about moving and paint colors.
